Art Till Catalogue Help and Information
We operate a central till sysytem for all our events.
Please complete this form no later than May 31st 2023
In oder to provide this service it is very important that we collect all of the required information from you in a similar format to make it easy to load into the system. we'll explain how you do this here.
Please note: every line you bring that is for sale will need to be included in your list, we do not have the capacity to add items later.
The key information required in all formats is:
Title | Description | Category(Your Name) | Price (No £ sign) | Quantity |
Title: The title of your artwork.
Description: This will include media type, framed or mounted, print or original and size if desired.
Category: This is your full name, not your business name please.
Price: This is the price you would like to sell your work for. there is no requirement to place a £ sign here, simply 190 or 190.00 is sufficient.
Quantity: This is the number of items you will be bringing to sell
Dealing with items such as cards and coasters.
These tend to be the same price point, although we appreciate some then divide into named titles too.
For the purposes of the till we just need one line per price point, rather than listing every title. this will help save you time too.
If you use Microsoft Excel, this is our preferred format and would look something like this...
If you use Microsoft Word, this is our second preference and would look something like the table above too...
Finally and the third option is a text document. This might be the option you choose if you don't have the previous two programmes.
With a text document it should look like this:
If using a Text Document a new line needs to be created for each artwork and separate each item with a comma. Use the same order as above for each line.
-
- Please don't use punctuation as this disrupts the process (other than the comma separator)
- To create a text document, Right Click on your desktop, select New > Text Document. Save the document in a known location on your PC when you have finished typing.
At the base of the page is the Till Catalogue form where you can upload your completed Till Catalogue.
Please remember to include everything you are bringing for sale on your list, originals, prints, cards, gifts etc.
Finally, when saving your list please name it so that your name is included in the file name, e.g. 'my name - till catalogue'
Thank you
