 Countryside brings artists and visitors together in a warm celebration of 
 creativity and community. In past events\, the village hall has been trans
 formed into a vibrant gallery\, filled with paintings\, ceramics\, textile
 s\, and more. Visitors return time and again\, drawn by the welcoming atmo
 sphere—where art feels accessible\, conversations flow easily\, and every 
 visit reveals something new.\nThis June 2026\, the village hall once again
  becomes the heart of the experience. Inside\, a carefully curated collect
 ion of local talent will inspire and delight\, while outside the surroundi
 ng countryside offers fresh air and open views\, perfect for a relaxed and
  enriching day out. It’s more than an exhibition—it’s a chance to connect 
 with creativity in a setting that feels both uplifting and genuine.\nMake 
 time this June to experience something special. Whether you’re an avid col
 lector or simply curious\, you’ll find inspiration\, warmth\, and perhaps 
 a piece that stays with you long after you leave. Art in the Countryside a
 waits you at the village hall.\nArtists this year include:\n\n\nMiranda Ma
 rkham will be exhibiting her latest still life and landscape oil paintings
 \;\n\n\nGraham Perryman exhibits his wildlife and landscape photography fr
 om around the UK and Iceland\;\n\n\nPolly Pincott who’s art evolves around
  portraiture but explores many aspects of the living\, natural world & pre
 sents her fabulous fish and dog sketches\;\n\n\nCaroline Moore contemporar
 y fine art who combines traditional techniques with contemporary themes an
 d pigments to create vibrant\, classically inspired oil paintings\;\n\n\nA
 lexandra Wright featuring her beautiful mixed media and watercolour painti
 ngs\;\n\n\nIsobel Rymer is inspired by her stunning farm\, surroundings he
 r painted slates and paintings reflect our great British countryside\;\n\n
 \nVivien Willacy explores wildlife\, countryside\, the coast and the human
  form using coloured pencils and pastels\;\n\n\nKaren Joy with her impress
 ionistic\, sometimes abstract landscape around Oxfordshire\, expressed wit
 h the freedom and adaptability of acrylic paint\;\n\n\nJackie Smith with a
 rtworks inspired by textile design\;\n\n\nLaurie Mclaughlin an accomplishe
 d potter who is showcasing her hand produced range of pottery\;\n\n\nProce
 edings commence on Friday 12th June with a Private View\, starting at 6pm 
 with a complimenary glass of fizz\, we'll also have canopies and an aspara
 gus BBQ to nibble on. All for a great price of £10 per ticket \, paid for 
 on the door on arrival.\nOn Saturday\, doors open to the public from 10am 
 until 6pm\, entry is Free of Charge\, with refreshments and lots of art to
  see and buy.\n\nThis year we are also running a  Countryside Artist of th
 e Year Competition all day Saturday\, weather permitting. We have 2 catego
 ries Junior (Upto 16 years old) and Adult (17 going 80+!)\nTalented local 
 award winning artist Barry Miller and Polly Pincott (finalist in Portrait
